Hi all!
‘Twas a lovely day here in the Queen City! After the fog lifted and before the thunderstorms rolled in that is. I say that’s why I didn’t go running this morning (yeah I thought about it.) The truth is I’m just lazy and my bed was oh so comfy.
I comforted my non-running self with a Green Monster:
- 1 frozen banana
- 4 cups spinach
- 1/2 cup almond milk
- 1 scoop natural PB
- ice
I added this pretty on the side:

A yogurt parfait! I’ve been seeing K’s parfaits and they are so frickin’ pretty. I drool on my keyboard looking at them. This did not disappoint.
It contained:
- 1 TJ’s vanilla greek yogurt
- Kashi Go Lean Crunch
- 2 strawberries
- blueberries

Oh so yum.
Then at lunch I made like the garbage collector and recycled:

That’s a BBB wrap! It was frickin’ frackin’ good too!
- 1 whole wheat wrap
- 1 spoonful (large) homemade guac
- spinach
- 1 black bean burger (halved)
I rolled that sucker up and had some chips and guac on the side:

I am seriously loving this guac, it’s so darn good. I might add it to my Green Monsters. I kid, I kid!
I’m sorta getting limited on the poses I can do with Mr. Snacky here:

I’m sure I’ll think of something…
What’s for dinner?
Why that’s exactly what I asked myself!
After seeing the as yet unopened carton of eggs in the fridge I decided on a… frittata!
Mr. Frittata contained:
- broccoli
- spinach
- 2 eggs + 2 egg whites
- 1 slice Ezekiel bread
- salsa
- S&P
- feta cheese
But while he was baking my stomach was being demanding so I snacked on some of these:

TJ’s dark chocolate edamame. Better known as my new form of crack.
Here’s Mr. Frittata in all his pre-baked glory:

That’s him on my plate. Not long after that he disappeared. Yum a yum yum!

Finally, that’s him with his new friend Mr. Leftover Salad. They should be getting real close about now.
As I mentioned yesterday I am in a gym funk. I couldn’t skip my run…it’s Thursday after all! So I went to the gym (blasted rain!) and did 2.5 miles on the treadmill. Is it just me or does a run not last so much longer on the treadmill? I always catch the emergency switch with my hand and stop it on purpose accidentally about halfway through. Grrr.
After I left the gym I headed to the yoga studio where I did 1.25 hours of hot yoga. It was divine. Not as quite challenging as the Saturday morning class I have been attending, and so very stretchy. I was so nice and bendy when I left. It was just what I needed to propel me outta that gym funk.
On the way home I spotted this:

‘lil baby rainbow.
Rainbows are always a good reminder of our Creator.
Genesis 9:16 (NIV)
Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth.”
See ya healthier!
