Ok, so my computer is doing crazy things and this is the third time I have written this post. Windows Live Writer and I just broke up. It’s sure not to last.
As I was saying, before it was lost, not once, but TWICE:
Now that the holidaze is ovah I hope to be on a better blogging schedule. Not gonna lie, I did not eat very clean this weekend.
Pastor D. shared this verse Sunday and I loved it.
Philippians 3:13 (New Living Translation)
No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead.
Perfect for the season.
To start my week off right I had a huge bowl of Kashi+banana+craisins this morning.
In the past but not forgotten.
Unlike this veggie sub I had for lunch.
Leftovers, circa Saturday. Some things should be left in the past.
Judging by the calendar my orange is sitting on you’d think I was living in the past.
But I’m just lazy and haven’t changed it yet.
Notice the 34.99×3? Yes, that in fact refers to hotel rooms. Which no one stayed in thank God. I do believe they also rented by the hour, as ‘Johnny’ hinted over the phone. I wouldn’t know for sure, as this was one deal I let slip right through my fingers.
One deal I am glad did not slip through my fingers is the one month of yoga for $39 at Y2Yoga.
Kasey and I took advantage of our membership tonight and attended an hour long Hot Vinyasa class. I love the flow and reliability of vinyasa, and I love going with Kasey. We make each other laugh, even if we aren’t supposed to. I think our friendship has a good future.
Tonight for dinner I had soup…chicken. I should eat that more in the future.
Endless soup and salad. Like Hops on a Sunday, but it was Monday and in Mama D’s kitchen.
Just finished up my green tea and now I have to check out the Bachelor. Julie has been making me laugh all day…I know his lines might be lame, but girllllll…
you gotta admit a man in a uniform is kinda hot, no? I’d like to think one of those is in my future.
How ‘bout you? A man in a uniform? No really, do you watch such as the Bachelor? I admit to being sucked in. It’s a single girl thing, I think.
*I apologize in advance for the lame theme of this post. By the third rewrite it just took on a life of it’s own.

totes watched the bachelor in college.
now that i live with my fiance? he judges when i try and watch. it’s one of the things i miss about living with girls!
Hehehe I like how it says “meet up with megan” lol.
Change your calendar, lady!!
I enjoyed this post! I’m not really religious, but I loved the passage you quoted. Very fitting for the new year, me thinks.
I love a man in uniform… I’m kind of biased though
In college my friends and I would have “bachelor nights” where we would get together, drink wine and watch the bachelor. Those were the Andew Firestone days- I haven’t watched it in so long!
Fun post!
I am so excited for the Bachelor tonight (west coast time). Jake is a cutie. Pilots are hot!
~ Hillary @ Nutrition Nut on the Run
Well he sure makes me love a man in uniform!
Hot Vinyasa yoga- that sounds so nice…is it similar to Bikram? I’m thinking of taking a few sessions when I go back up to school this semester!
i think jake is sexy!! ow owww! kind of too emotional for my liking tho .. ya know? kind of girly.
love subway!
Soup and salad look great by mama!
And yesss of course I watch the bachelor!
Jenna
Cute post! I loooove hot yoga. That reminds me it has been FAR to long since I have been.
I am a sucker for a man in uniform, which is why I am marrying a cop
love the bible verse…thanks for sharing.
I get sucked into watching the show also… AND now that i have seen how good looking he is.. im watching.. hahahaha.. Shhh dont tell mark!
oh my gosh. I don’t like many of the girls on the Bachelor but it looks like it’ll be a great season!!
Some of the best blog posts are those that take on a life of their own! I don’t remember seeing guys like that when I was single
Watching the Bachelor rrrrright now. Oh baby
Love that verse, girl!
Just found your blog, Love the verse you chose! Obviously not an original comment, but worth mentioning twice!

no need to apologizeeee. i adore all u have to say.
xoxo
lolo
I liked your post!!
Men in uniform = BIG YES in my book! (actually, any man will do atm, they don’t have to be in uniform. Breathing is enough hah!)
That lunch looks good – I always worry a meat/protein free meal will mean I’ll be hungry an hour later, but it seems to have worked for you, maybe I’ll try
Have a great day, and hope your computer sorts itself out!
I usually get sucked into the bachelor marathons that come on tv years after it originally aired. It’s addicting!
I do love WLR….but we’ve had a few fights lately, and I’ve lost some posts lately….RRRRrrrrr. I know how you feel!
Love that verse!
WOw, he is pretty cute. I haven’t seen him until now. I forgot all about the Bachelor. Yay for fall sitcoms and reality tv back on!
I will not get sucked into the bachelor this year. Always a goal, but will it last
The soup and salad look amazing for a cold winter’s day!
He is very cute! Gotta love an man in uniform
He’s outdoubtedly hot. However, the show makes me want to poke my own eyes out. LOL.
I am always a sucker for a man in uniform…guess that’s why I’m married to a Marine! Don’t know if I’ll get sucked in to the batchelor though, I’m not a tv fan other than the occasional nat geo special or “real” show series.
great verse, especially for this time of year!
i hope your computer and you make up soon
haha. alright fine. if he just stands there in his uni and doesn’t yuckle or do any of his way to nice for words things then he’s money in the bank. he’s just like tooo nice for me! that’s horrible and it’s probably one of the 4.2gagill reasons why i’m still single.
conveyor belt of love on the otherhand…
ughhh i want that Y2 yoga membership like right now.
oh girl…you just keep going on with yo bad self! post-marathon, i found my motivation to be totally lagging for a couple months. it was like after the race (which had consumed so much time and thought), i didn’t know what to do with myself.
COMPLETELY NORMAL. just keep on keeping on, and things will fall back into place. i just know it.
love you!
I’m a HUGE sucker for uniforms! LOVE IT!
have a killer day sweetie~
Whoa, I LOVE that verse! I don’t think I am a Christian person, but lately I have been all about Bible verses and whatnot! So inspiring and deep… I am totally feeling it. Gonna write that badboy down in my planner RIGHT NOW!
PS: Will you come to San Francisco this summer (July 25) and run the SF half marathon with SnackFace and I? K thanks.
LOVE YOU FOREV
I hate any/all weight comments… but i just have to say YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL and i dont think you should lose… just sayin!!!
MA
PS however i understand not being comfortable in your own skin/body. I would REALLY like some curves
Wooo! Men in uniform! Yess
And I missed The Bachelor last night.. need to get on that!
That verse is perfect for the new year! Your bfast looks uber yummy.
Is that a Subway Veggie Delite? I love those!!
Love your blog, Whit. I have been a lurker
I agree, the Bachelor Jake is easy on the eyes, but he’s pretty cheesy and I wish he’d stop making those puppy dog faces. I was hoping they’d choose Kiptyn from last season. Oh well!
I like that piece of scripture. On Sunday one lesson was about God making all things new, including me.
i am also not religious but loved your quote! and THE HOT man in uniform
also, i’m jealous of Y2Yoga! what an awesome deal. (this is ghost world sarah btw – i changed the name FINALLY)
dude WLW sounds like a d-bag.. so unreliable.. break up with his a$$… then date me
I’m all for a man in uniform! My husband’s a cop!
P.S. I’m giving away a BUILT Neoprene Lunch Tote on my blog: http://lovinlosing.com/2010/01/05/giveaway-announcement/
Ugh posting troubles suckkk.
But thank you for sharing that verse with us, I LOVE it! So postive
I don’t reallly have a thing for men in uniform, but I’ll admit to being sucked into the bachelor from time to time. That drama is just too much to ignore.
Oh, the BACH!! He is the cheesiest cheeseball i’ve ever seen, but he IS nice to look at.
And I totally support that verse! We can’t dwell on the past since it can’t be changed…so we must look towards the future and do what we can with it!!
