It was an Oats In A Jar morning!
Because really, what else would you do with the empty nut butter jar?
By the way, whenever I say Oats In A Jar now I say it to the tune of ‘Pants On the Ground.’

I gave you a sneak preview of lunch last night.
Now presenting, salad: the leftovers!
Much improved in a dish that fits.
Served up with it’s sidekick, berries in a cup.
And soon followed by grapefruit: the snack.
It’s Friday of course, and like any other working class American I was glad to call it a week. And what a week it was!
My boss said, and I quote: ‘You’ve really cranked out the work this week, haven’t you?’ You know what? I have. I felt rather proud. [Not that I don’t usually work, I do. This week was exceptionally crazed.]
Snack #2: Cereal, Dry.
Crunch, crunch.
I’ve started eating an extra snack between snack #1 and dinner. I enjoy it. And you know what? 5 lbs of extra marathon weight gone! I will be my regular size in no time. [and if you do not read this blog for weight disclaimers, please disregard that. I warned you.]

Sorry, a little Brooks and Dunn for you there. I think one of my favorite concerts ever was the time I saw them. Fun fact about ol’ country loving me. Can’t believe they are retiring this year. 
And how did I get on that subject from a cup of tea, might I ask?

you roast a banana in foil too?!?! its SO SO good! I also stuff chocolate, graham crackers, and marshmellows into the peel for an extra special dessert

My best concert ever was Muse a few years back, they are amazing!! Britney was a bit of a dispapointment lol

i still think dick in a box whenever i see oats in a jar. and i haven’t been watching AI, so i am clearly out of the loop on this one. is that a caramelized banana with chocolate and other fixins? because i used to work at a day camp and we called them banana boats and they were like the best things ever. and great minds find random ways of connecting seemingly unrelated things together. its just how we roll.

Best concert I’ve been to – Dropkick Murphys in Boston on St. Patrick’s Day. I’m sure you can imagine the insanity that ensued.

Strangely, the best concert I have attended was a Nickelback concert. Circa the year 2000. I detest Nickelback now, but back in the day, they had some promise. They actually put on an amazing show. I wouldn’t dare go see them now though.
The Dixie Chicks are the most AMAZING live performers! I have seen them so many times and am blown away at every concert

I love seeing Coldplay in concert – I’ve seen them 3 times now and they are just amazing.
I also think Britney Spears was one of my favorite concerts. It was great fun sitting with 12 year old girls and their moms – but seriously I jumped up and down so much and screamed so much I lost my voice!

I am beyond sad about Brooks & Dunn…I’ve seen them at least 4 times and they get better every time! Matter of fact, the best concert I’ve ever been to was the all day long “Poets & Pirates Tour” concert a couple summers ago. It was in Columbia SC, me and Rachel had field seats and it was amazing!! Brooks and Dunn, Kenny Chesney, Gary Allen + tons others….ahhhh, we were in HEAVEN!!!
