Lunch Hazards

Let me preface this post by saying that if you got to see Michael Bublé playing Regis today, I am jealous.

JOBS! [I need one that allows me to watch talk shows all morning instead of working.]

Speaking of jobs. Before I left for mine today, I had a bowl of cereal.

Why, Kashi Honey Sunshine with Almond Milk, aren’t you a cutie!

It was after I got to work that I discovered Bublé was hosting Regis and Kelly today. Tres sad. Julie so kindly commented me to let me know it was on, but alas I had already heard the news on the radio. I love how she thought of me when she saw Bublé though! [Does that make me a stalker/creepy in my obsession? Possibly.]

Anyway, moving on…

Lunch: Turkey + Spinach wrap.

SO GOOD, except the tortilla got stuck on the roof of my mouth and I had to make a mad dash to the water fountain. Poor little UPS man witnessed the entire incident too.

I apologized for my unclassiness, but he was too busy laughing to notice.

Ok, well I’m off to listen to my two men sing.

Breaking News!!!!

So as soon as Michael Bublé breaks up with his model girlfriend, we can get married.

Also making my day was a jar of oatmeal.

Oatmeal:

• 1/4 cup oats
• 1/4 cup almond milk
• 1/4 cup water
• 1/2 banana
• 1/2 scoop protein powder

Topping:

• 1 banana muffin

mmmmm

I’m multitasking it at lunch today.

• checking e-mails
• catching up on google reader
• posting
• eating

How fun!

And vegetable stir fry too!

Never had that before!

Well on a plate anyway.

• Tempeh
• Pepper
• Zuke
• Carrot
• Corn
• Peas
• Onion

Or a variation of such.

Just Haven’t Met You Yet…

Nothing special here.

Buttered toast.

‘Twas my breakfast, yes indeed.

And then when I got to the office, I had a coffee.

Well, a rather large coffee.

And for lunch, I packed something I haven’t had in a while.

Mixing Bowl Salad.

Hugh Jass Salad.

Strawberry Poppyseed Salad.

And well, salad is not really a fall food.

Fall is more for soup. And cider. And hot chocolate.

Not really salad.

Especially fruity salad.

With fruit on the side.

But regardless, that’s what I had.

And that’s what I ate.
