YA’LL!!! I have missed ya’ll SO much this weekend. My internet was down, and despite my good intentions I never made it to Starbizzles Sunday. Something about a football game?
Anyway, I want to share the awesomeness that was Kath’s oatmeal brunch on Saturday, and we’ll go from there.
I don’t even recall what all was in there, but trust me when I say it was exceptional.
Kath shared her famous Grog with us coffee drinkers. It’s just as good as she says.
Also Kath shared TREASURES with us [well I think she called it junk] so I came home with:
- a dish
- pumpkin spice tea!
Actually, I came home with MUCH more than that, because I went SHOPPING so I got APARTMENT stuff. I can’t believe I am moving in three weeks! Whatever will my family do without me?
So skipping the rest of Saturday, and Sunday for that matter. [Except for HOW ABOUT THOSE SAINTS?!?!?! Actually, I was pulling for the Colts, but those Saints played an AWESOME game, so I am not disappointed.]
TODAY [Monday] I tried to recreate Kath’s oatmeal.
Mine was just meh. [But the spoonful of pear butter was fantastic!]
I also tried to create work, but I was done by two.
Even with taking time to prepare this gourmet meal:
Veggie + VEGGIES.
Who am I?
I mean, I even had CARROTS for a snack.
[Oh, and they were good too. So good.]
Ok, so all those vegetables were SO NOT ME, that I proceeded to have 15 crackers when I got home. Satisfying.
And then DINNER!
MORE sweet potato. Also, some casserole, oranges and green beans.
So exciting things!!! I went with my dad to a meeting at a local ministry where he is on the board, and it was AWESOME. The ministry is called C.U.P [Christians United for People] Ministry, and it provides clothing + food to homeless and needy families. Dad’s been working with them for several years now, and he actually just got me involved. I’m so excited to see what God has in store for this ministry. I think it could be huge!
And on that note, I think I will go to bed. I’m wiped!
See ya’ll later!
