I have a new job. My sister is turning 21 (yay!). My cousin had a baby (we are a huge close knit family). I have kept my work outs up through all this excitement, but I am too tired for posts. *yawn* I am going to bed.

So, the one thing I love about the Body for Life program is that there is an entire day built in where you can eat whatever you want. I usually do this in moderation, but yesterday…well yesterday I did not.
Upon waking up around eight I consumed a cupcake and a brownie for breakfast, can you say carb overload? After church I added another cupcake to that count as well as a large lunch. Dinner consisted of bagels, nachos, pita chips and a soda. Now I did add some vegetables at lunch. My question is, am I the only one that pigs out on a so-called ‘free day’ or am do I have an abnormally small amount of self control? Perhaps it was all the weeks of good behavior leading up to this day. Whatever it was, I can say I hope to do better next Sunday!
It was raining this morning when I got up, so that shot my running plans all to that big firepit below. After much agonizing I did decide to go to the gym and at least get my required 20 minutes of cardio in. I actually ended up doing 45 minutes (25 minutes on the bike and 20 on the treadmill) and feeling much better about myself for doing something on this dreary, dreadful grey day.
So, what’s your rainy day go to work out plan?
I like fitness. I like running. I actually like sweating. So therefore, a fitness blog!
I always set goals for myself with fitness. I try training for a certain race, finishing a work out program, just getting my butt in the gym every day…
Right now, my goal is the Body For Life work out program. Yes, I know a little old, a little dusty, but I dusted off the book and decided to do it. I was inspired by a guy at work; he and his wife did the program a few years ago and looked amazing! So I figured if they can do it so can I. Here I am on Day 52, and no, I do not look amazing yet. I am much stronger though and I am having fun doing it. I am more committed to my diet and the work out is relatively simple. I am looking forward to seeing where I am on Day 84…dare I say I hope it’s amazing???
